๐Ÿ“– Today's Word:
Psalm 32:5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, โ€œI will confess my transgressions to the Lord.โ€ And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
I was thinking about Adamโ€™s response when asked about his actions in the garden of Eden. When God ask him about eating the fruit of the forbidden tree, he said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.โ€ So, the man blames the woman, and he also blames God โ€“ after all, He was the one who brought Eve into his life! Eveโ€™s defense? โ€œThe serpent deceived me, and I ate.โ€ In other words, โ€œThe Devil made me do it,โ€ excuse. That same excuse is just as rampant in todayโ€™s culture. All you have to do is watch the news. Someone is always blaming someone else, not only for their failures, but also for their actions. It seem to me, success seems to be measured by how many people we have adequately blamed. Our culture features this out-of-control blame game mindset. โ€œItโ€™s not my fault! Itโ€™s her fault! Itโ€™s his fault! It wouldnโ€™t have happened without her; without him; without the snake!โ€ Since the dawn of mankind, that is a classic unrepentant mindset of man when it comes to our sin. Do you blame others for your mistakes and sins or do you confess your actions? We need to take that first step in acknowledging your own sinful deeds to the One who offers unlimited forgiveness? It will help us move away from the blame game to a life of maturity. God offers forgiveness but we have to take the first step and acknowledge our sin before Him.
๐Ÿ™ Today's Prayer:
Father, forgive me for my failures. I know my own will is the reason for them. I humble myself before you today. Amen

Our Hope is that you walk away with a Blessing!!
