π Today's Word:
Leviticus 23:3 There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the Lord.

All of us want to be successful when it comes to our work, but letβs think about the two most common problems when it comes to work. One is being lazy. We live in a society that so often glorifies the irresponsible β those who wonβt work β as victims. This is insulting to those who are truly unable to work. Godβs Word is clear; laziness is not good. God wants us to work hard. At the other extreme is the workaholic, and there are four common traits of the workaholic: They tend to be the first person to work and the last to leave. They try to please others, and have a tough time saying no. They tend to only talk about work. And they feel guilty taking a day off. Neither the workaholic or the lazy person is Godβs intention. The right balance is working hard to please God, yet taking time to back away and rest. Take a weekly Sabbath. It is one of Godβs great ideas for successful living. When we do, we find ourselves refreshed and ready to give our best to our work.
π Today's Prayer:
Father, thank you for your example of work and rest. You word says so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Amen

Our Hope is that you walk away with a Blessing!!
