Jack County Cowboy Church

It's so easy to be a Christian on a Sunday, but what about the day to day obedience? What about when you catch yourself bad-mouthing other people? What about when we entertain impure thoughts in our minds? Like the early Jewish Christians, there is a very real possibility that we could become discouraged and give up. The devil like to whisper into the ear of the Christian and bring discouraging thoughts into our minds. If we let them take root, we get to the point of giving up. Paul said, We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. God placed a hope in us and if we hang on to that hope, we know all things work for the glory of God to further His kingdom.
