Through the years, I’ve debated whether our worst enemy is procrastination or discouragement. If Satan can’t get us to put off things in life, then he’ll try to get us to quit altogether. When we’re discouraged, we become ineffective. When we’re discouraged, we’re saying, It can’t be done. That’s the exact opposite of saying, I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Nothing really worthwhile ever comes easy in life. No one ever said the Christian walk was easy. Seems like the more we do, the more walls of doubt we run up against. But Jesus defeated doubt. Jesus could have quit any time, but He thought we were worth it. Show Jesus you were worth it. Keep on striving to be Christ like in your daily walk. Don't become weary of doing good. Lean on the strength of Christ.
