What is the value of the soul? Most people don't even give it a second thought. But to Jesus, the souls of this world came at a very high price. Our souls cost Him His life. He gave His life that God could redeem the soul of all who would believe on Him. But people sometimes don't think about it that way. They live their lives to gain all they can in this world never giving the soul a second thought. I've heard people say, me and God have an understanding, like the bible doesn't apply to them. But it does say, Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Jesus didn't put being a disciple in fine print at the bottom of a contract, but in Bold type. The cross PRESENTED, the cross REJECTED or the cross ACCEPTED. Choose one!
